The exact definition is “a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime”. The bucket in question refers to before you “kick the bucket”…or things to do before you die.

I have one. If you’ve been receiving these emails for a while you will already know how important it is to me. I prefer to call it my Life List. The things I wanted to do to bring me back to life.

A few years ago, my world was hit with tragedy when I found myself single again, grieving and in my mid-40’s. I felt lost, void of direction and unsure even who I was anymore. Everyone who loved me knew I had a passion for travel. They tapped into it and invited me to join them on their holidays. For a year, I wandered around the world, following friends and family.
Then I realised that I needed to take control. I had always carried a checklist in my head of things I wanted to achieve in life. However, up to that point I had never put pen to paper and written it down. But in 2016, I created my first Life List. It became my roadmap, leading me to new experiences and adventures.

Therefore, I am passionate about the importance of having a documented Life List (have I converted you to the name yet?). It has allowed me to create the future I want, and I am convinced it will do the same for you.
